This group of readings was a bit harder for me to get into, however I found the information about typography and the integration of photography and typography together to be particularly interesting. I like to experiment with spacing and the placement of words on a page, so it was very cool to see where that all began. I liked how it could be described as a "verbal painting", and how not only words can convey a feeling in the viewer, but also the way that they are presented. Another technique I particularly enjoy is collaging, so this image that showed some of the first collaging while including typography as well, was particularly interesting.

It was very cool to see some of the pioneers of manipulation of photography, and how they, particularly Lissitzky, created something abstract, but still full of meaning.

Another thing that I found to be interesting was the heavy use of geometry when it comes to creating typefaces. Geometry was the only math class I actually enjoyed, and that makes sense as to why I find typefaces and they're creation to be so fascinating. I would love to one day make my own, as well as make more art with hand drawn type, because I also find that to be really relaxing and beautiful. looking at a lot of these old posters with all of the hand drawn type has been very inspiring for me.
