Lecture Blog Ryan Quirke

I found that the Japanese ukiyo-e art was fascinating. My roommate has a few Japanese posters in his room. I found chromo-lithography interesting because of how it uses a method of layering print on top of each other to create a colorful image. I liked the examples of cubism because they were simple, but effective in advertising. The dada movement was very interesting because they believed in creativity as protest.
