This image caught my attention because I think it captures a juxtaposition to the American dream. It exemplifies how people are resorting to a way of getting rich fast without working years for it. I find this image to be interesting because it conveys gambling, lust for wealth and women, and alcohol. All things which are desirable for pleasure and instant gratification. These objects pictured are very de-saturated which could imply that these vices are negative. In the bottom left, there is a lottery ticket which epitomizes the desire to get rich fast. The word "Corruption" is displayed which may hint that these notions were possibly a correlation to the corruption of America.

This image gives off a very surrealistic vibe and leaves me questioning the meaning of it. This image is similar to my other image because the type is minimal and the image is emphasized. I question why there is a baguette and a glass floating in air. Is gravity nonexistent? The formality of the man's attire and these objects give off a calm tone, whereas in the background there is a raging storm and a ship fighting against the current.

This image suggests a progressive ideal as there are arrows and an eye all headed in the same direction. There are many different tones of color in this image. The are many shades of blue and yellow. The type is italicized like the angle of the line in the image. This image conveys that democracy is inevitable and there is no other way around it.
I really like the abstract photos you chose, especially the last one as it has geometric shapes comparing the eye in the very middle. It has very sharp lines but with the subtle curve of the eye and the dove's head. I find that the picture piece is stronger than the written but the written does align very well with the whole piece itself.
